February 8th call for the Sacred Tipi Request

On February 8th there were 7 of us on the call.  Some of us knew one another from the Presence Walkabouts and others of us through another connection with Glenna.

During our time together we listened and talked about what was unfolding for us relative to the vision for the Tipi and what next steps might be.  Below is a collage of our responses that has been added to by a number of us.  We hope it will help to keep those of you who wanted to be with us but could not be connected in with this listening circle.  I’ll be sending out a note about the time for our next call soon.

Glenna

I find myself appreciative in so many ways for the call and for the listening of the people who were with us.  To Ken and Catherine for facilitating the call and allowing me to be another participant.  For the mixture of people who did not all know one another yet have all walked the land here in Ojo and all have a deep reverence for the role the land plans in facilitating and deepening our ability to listen.  For the vision that unfolded of the Tipi as a sacred space to ground ceremony both in physical form and for those of us who sit in council non-locally around the world. As a place for council and learning to participation in the evolution of the wisdom of the circle at this time.  A place for divine rebirth of something creative and focused intention; an invitation to manifesting and ground vision for many.

Ken

For me there are a few places on this planet with which I feel a palpable resonance, where my sense of being becomes larger.  In these places I become aware of the presence of other beings and my relationship with them.  This feels like a natural state of aliveness and it informs me in profound ways.  The Ojo land is such a place for me.

I am grateful for the convergence of very special people who have been drawn to this land.   It is my belief that the emergence of a collective understanding and awareness of our relations with so many sentient dimensions of this universe will allow us to live in a co-creative way with the Earth and enhance the evolution of our collective consciousness.   The Ojo land is an important part of this process for me.

Glenna’s Walkabouts have awakened a knowing that we all share and we now have the opportunity, the privilege, of responding to the Call.  In our various listenings we have had collective insights as to how we can participate in this evolution.  Of course, sacred ceremony is a vital aspect of this work and the indigenous energies of the land speak to the ceremony.  Out of this insight, the placement of a tipi on the land emerged as a focal point of gathering and ceremony, a portal if you will, for a conscious joinder of spirit and matter.

My sense is that the tipi will be but one component of a constellation of installations on the land, the medicine circle on the mesa being another.  A

labyrinth may be one as well.

I look forward to participating in this awakening.  Many thanks and blessings to Glenna and Dave to answering their call.

Catherine

One of my deepest appreciations for our call on February 8th was the felt sense of our Circle expanding to include new voices & open hearts; new ways of seeing & listening into Being.  Sarah shared with us a vision of cross-pollination between our respective circles of influence  & this call was, for me, a beautiful expression of just that.   The chiming in of new voices, informed by a deep listening, greatly enlarged my sense of the open possibilities for manifesting our shared vision with respect to honouring & co-creating sacred space(s) on the Ojo Land & beyond.  I’m truly looking forward to more fruitful explorations into how cross-pollination may serve as a core energetic & re-source for the blossoming of conscious collectives.

We also enjoyed a tantalizing dip into two other threads of conversation which I sense may deeply in-form our current understandings about conscious/intentional collectives:

Non-local Participation - How do we co-create sacred spaces to serve as portals and groundings for our non-local participation in conscious collective processes of active engagement  & visioning?  We share a strong collective sense that the tipi we are currently intending to raise on the Ojo Land will serve in such a way.

Creativity as Service- There was a lot of juice for me as we attended to hovering glimmers about intentionally offering the expressions of our individual creative gifts into the world as a way of serving & manifesting the visions of our larger conscious collectives.  Several of us have now committed our selves in this way to raise the Sacred Tipi on the Ojo Land.  Exciting, engaging, galvanizing energy here!

Heart-felt gratitude to all who were present for this call & also for those who were not able to join us but were otherwise present in heart & spirit.

May We Dance in Beauty …

Sarah

I am truly in awe of how this emerging stewardship of Glenna and Dave’s land is offering us a way to relate to the earth, her lessons and her past which brings healing, joy, sacred wisdom, creativity and collective awareness.  This call for both listening and action feels very much like a call to manifest new relationships, new modalities of togetherness, which can act as beacons for new generations, and as conduits for ancient knowledge to be transferred.

It feels like an embodiment of both our intention in a physical space, but also which requires an embodiment of spirit – bringing down into this realm the higher knowledge within each of us – and which will point the way for each person to contribute in perfect order.   For me, the wonderful unfolding of creative play, through color, canvass and paint brushes, has been a beautiful gift that this Sacred Circle Tipi has already inspired for me…and I look forward to the sharing!

I am also very in tune with the fact that this endeavor will involve a constellation of relationships- between this land and others, our council and others, this realm of perception and others, and the path starts with each of us listening into ourselves for the next steps.  As a circle who comes together to ground this into a space, a tipi, we are inviting this emergence to speak to us, so that we can begin a call and response inside ourselves, with each other, and in service to a higher purpose.

I feel that we are being called to participate in a deeper acknowledgment of the cycles of life before us (both as in the past, and the future) and our role in that evolution.  And the mesa is a portal for that communication, a grounding and magnifying point on this planet which connects the threads of all the energies meeting here to pollinate our collective intentions.   I feel very blessed to be a small part of this, and to give and receive the gifts of this dance of beauty!
