| WELCOME
to my Virtual Home and Wadi. A wadi is a waterway in a desert where water runs with the rhthym of the seasons - an apt metaphor for those rare places
within fast-paced lives where we can pause, even if briefly,
to let our shoulders drop, breathe out, and check in with
ourselves and others. So come on in, sit down, put your
feet up, and stay for awhile. Take a moment for yourself
and learn a bit about me while you enjoy the landscapes
here.
Three questions have inspired my work:
- What
is it we require as individuals and collectives, to
create and sustain environments of trust and mutual
respect and what are the practices that empower us to do so?
- What
do we make possible when we choose to be fully present,
i.e., show up, pay attention to what matters to us
and creatively live into our questions?
- In what ways does partnering with the Land hone our capabiliy for presence, deep listening and discernment as individuals and as collectives?
- What are the forms of collective consciousness and how do we cultivate them in intentionally engaging the evolutionary process?
Within
this Web Wadi are products of my learning about the conditions,
capacities and practices that foster greater presence.
They weave years of organizational experience with dialogue
and other group modalities, with a deep connection to
the natural landscape and an eclectic array of practices
from many traditions. I hope you will take a self-guided
walk through the site and return to visit often.
